LensCrafters is well-known as the leading optical retailer in North America. With a dated digital ecosystem and margins under pressure from big-box retailers and thousands of smaller independent stores, they reached out to us for a strategy to respond to this rapidly changing market landscape.
We created a multi-year strategy, plan, and a prioritized roadmap for all investments across e-commerce, social, mobile, tablets, and digital signage. We identified and prioritized more than 75 multi-channel ideas in creating our joint plan, from online virtual try-on trays that associates convert to in-store kits of frames for customers, to in-store magic mirrors with access to inventory and ordering, to various mobile apps that schedule eye appointments and replenish contacts and broken frames easily.
In short, we transformed the way people found their next pair of eyeglasses and proving that Eyes Love Lenscrafters.
